Michael Good founded The Good Directorate in 2026, bringing a rare combination of deep studio roots and high-level technical execution to modern music management and infrastructure. Michael started out in the 2010s interning under James Johnson at Benny Blanco’s former management company, Pilot Creative. There, he handled day-to-day operations and engineered studio sessions for writers and artists like David Brook, Neon Hitch, and Robopop. As a writer, producer, and artist himself, his creative collaborations span years of working alongside names like Chevy Woods, blackwinterwells, Shinigami, and Smrtdeath.
Alongside his music career, Michael spent over a decade working as a heavyweight software engineer and cybersecurity expert. He holds a U.S. patent in AI-driven access controls and recently spent over three years as the Senior Identity Management Specialist for the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms, where he led their Okta implementation and built custom software tools to optimize their network infrastructure. By bringing enterprise-grade security and tech engineering straight into the music space, Michael built The Good Directorate—backed by a close-knit team of long-time friends, family, and elite specialists—to give artists a flawless, secure, and completely independent foundation to scale their careers.
